Job summary

Cardiff City FC is seeking a 1st Team Performance Analyst to support player development, match preparation and analysis across training and competition. The role centers on individual learning and learning plans, with exposure to game-model libraries and data reporting.

You will work with coaches and First Team players, film training, code sessions, and deliver insights through video packages and data analysis to inform performance decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Performance Analysis, Sports Science, or MSc in a related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Performance Analyst in a professional football club.
• Strong practical knowledge of Hudl, Sportscode, Insight, Wyscout, Final Cut Pro, Keynote and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organisation, communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Individual Learning Plans for First Team players.
• Film and code all First Team training sessions.
• Produce post-match technical data reports at team and individual levels.
• Support opposition analysis and maintain game-model libraries.
