Job summary

Protyre Autocare in Bracknell is seeking a Tyre Technician to join its busy team. You will accurately fit and repair tyres on various cars while maintaining high workmanship and customer service standards.

Essential: full UK driving licence, automotive qualification, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A regular bonus and funded IMI courses are among the benefits, with staff discounts on services and tyres.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician through employment or an Apprenticeship.
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to produce high quality work within specified time frames with initiative.
• Ability to work independently or in a busy team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and make decisions to benefit company performance.
• Friendly and approachable manner.

Responsibilities

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
• Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice when necessary.
• Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Notify customers/management of additional faults found.
• Ensure vehicle is cleaned of dirt/oil or marks after job.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with policies and procedures.

OurTyre Fitters / Techniciansare responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and tyre repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles, maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service.

Essential: Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

About the role:

Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.

Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary

Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.

Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.

Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out

To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures

About you:
