Job summary

Protyre Autocare in Swindon is seeking a Tyre Technician to join our busy team. You will fit and repair tyres on cars and light vehicles, delivering high quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Essential qualifications include a full UK driving licence and an automotive qualification; prior Tyre Technician experience is preferred. We offer funded IMI courses and a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Full Clean UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months.
• Qualification in an Automotive field required.
• Proven tyre technician experience or apprenticeship completed.

Responsibilities

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
• Provide quality workmanship and seek guidance when needed.
• Remove and refit components and perform related adjustments.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Notify customers/management of additional faults found.
• Keep vehicle clean and maintain accurate job documentation.
