Job summary

Protyre Autocare, part of the Micheldever Group, is seeking a Tyre Technician to join our team in the UK. You will perform tyre fitting and repairs on a range of vehicles while delivering high quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and an automotive qualification. The role includes ongoing IMI-funded training, bonus opportunities, staff discounts, and fringe benefits as part of a fast-growing automotive group.

Responsibilities

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
• Provide quality workmanship and seek guidance when needed.
• Remove and refit components and perform related adjustments.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Inform customers/management of any additional faults found.
• Ensure vehicle is cleaned of oil or dirt after work.
• Maintain documentation in line with company policies

Our Tyre Fitters / Technicians are responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and tyre repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles, maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service.

• Essential: Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

About the role:

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.

• Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary

• Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.

• Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.

• Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.

• Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out

• To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures

About you:

• Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship

• Excellent customer service

• Full Clean UK Driving Licence

• Able to produce high quality work within specified time frames, using your own initiative

• Able to work independently or as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment

• The ability to multitask and make appropriate decisions to benefit company performance

• Friendly and approachable manner
