Job summary

Protyre Autocare is recruiting a Tyre Technician to join our growing team. You will carry out tyre fitting and repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles, ensuring high workmanship and excellent customer service.

Essential: Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months and a qualification in an automotive field. We offer funded IMI courses, staff discounts on tyres and servicing, and a range of recognition schemes within The Micheldever Group.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months.
• Qualification in an Automotive field.
• Proven Tyre Technician experience or apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
• Maintain high quality workmanship and seek guidance when necessary.
• Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
• Ensure work is safe and to a high standard.
• Notify customers/management of additional faults found.
• Keep vehicle clean of dirt/oil after work.
• Maintain documentation according to company policies.

Essential:

Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

About the role:

Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.

Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary

Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.

Making customers and/or management aware of anyadditionalfaults found on the customers vehicle.

Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out

Tomaintainaccuratedocumentation in line with company policies and procedures

About you:

Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship

Full Clean UK Driving Licence

Able to producehigh qualitywork within specifiedtime frames, using your own initiative

Able to work independently or as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment

The ability to multitask and makeappropriate decisionstobenefitcompany performance
