Job summary

Protyre Autocare in the UK is seeking a Tyre Technician to join our growing network. You will perform tyre fitting and repairs across a range of cars and light vehicles, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Essential: full UK driving licence held at least 6 months, and an automotive qualification. Proven tyre experience or apprenticeship, able to work independently or in a fast-paced team, and commit to safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Full Clean UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months.
• Qualification in an Automotive field.
• Proven Tyre Technician experience or apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Accurate tyre fitting and repairs on all makes of vehicles.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and safety.
• Identify additional faults and advise customers/management.
• Keep vehicle clean after work and document work per policy.

Our Tyre Fitters / Techniciansare responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and tyre repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles, maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service.

Essential: Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

About the role:

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
• Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary
• Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
• Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.
• Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out
• To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures

About you:

• Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence
• Able to produce high quality work within specified time frames, using your own initiative
• Able to work independently or as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• The ability to multitask and make appropriate decisions to benefit company performance
• Friendly and approachable manner
