Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Mobile Expert Team Leader in Southampton to support a technician team delivering servicing at customers' homes and workplaces. You will manage daily field operations, coach technicians, and ensure high standards of quality and time-efficiency.

Ideal candidates are highly organized with strong communication, able to lead the hub in the manager's absence, and to uphold health and safety protocols while driving customer satisfaction and performance against targets.

Qualifications

• Evidence of delivering a great customer experience.
• Experience as a Technician, completing jobs to the correct technical standard and within the allotted time.
• Experience of delivering coaching/training in the moment.
• A track record of success in delivering against targets and customer metrics.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across health and safety.
• IT proficient, with the aptitude to learn in-house systems.
• A full valid driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mobile team to deliver high-quality service to customers.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching in the field.
• Manage hub operations and ensure timely job completion.
• Ensure safety and compliance across hub and vans.
• Train new colleagues to the Halfords standard.
• Communicate effectively to achieve targets and metrics.
