Job summary

IGT in Manchester is seeking an experienced game developer to design and implement engaging gameplay with a strong emphasis on code quality and maintainability.

You will work closely with art and design teams, leverage TypeScript and modern tooling, and help establish robust build pipelines and release processes for a fast-moving project.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in game development.
• Strong TypeScript skills with solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with PixiJS and Spine.
• Ability to design simple, maintainable solutions and spot technical risks before they become issues.
• Comfortable using modern developer tools, including AI-assisted coding tools, in a structured and responsible way.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Awareness of build pipelines, automated checks, and release processes.
