Job summary

Searchability® invites applications for a Birmingham-based iGame Developer to join a brand-new team in a growing part of our business. You’ll work on engaging graphical gaming content, collaborating with artists and designers to deliver crisp visuals and responsive interactions.

Ideal candidates will write clean TypeScript code, understand PixiJS or similar rendering libraries, and optimise performance across devices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with PixiJS or similar 2D rendering libraries.
• Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with game development frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

THE iGAME DEVELOPER ROLE:

You’ll work with PixiJS and related technologies to bring game visuals and interactions to life, collaborating closely with artists, designers and other developers to create smooth and engaging gameplay experiences.

You’ll also be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code, troubleshooting technical issues and continuously improving performance across different platforms.

iGAME DEVELOPER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong experience with TypeScript
• Experience with PixiJS or similar 2D rendering libraries
• Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Familiarity with game development frameworks
• Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
