Search People is seeking a qualified Type 1 Fire Risk Assessor to join a leading fire safety consultancy in the Southampton area. The role focuses on end-to-end Type 1 FRAs, providing expert advice and ensuring clients meet statutory obligations.

You will also contribute to QA processes and fire safety training as part of a well-rounded career path. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in fire safety consultancy, a solid understanding of BS and Building Regulations, and a willingness to travel to

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in fire safety consultancy.
• Experience across construction, residential and services sectors.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, British Standards and Building Regulations.
• Proven ability to write detailed reports and manage client queries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments for diverse client properties.
• Provide concise, actionable fire safety advice to clients.
• Deliver specialist consultancy, including bespoke advice and surveys.
