Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Sheffield invites graduates to a two-year Salaried Teacher Training Programme starting January. In year one, you join a secondary school as a Cover Supervisor, earning a salary of £23,000–£27,000 and gaining classroom experience.

In year two you train to become a teacher, complete your PGCE, and work toward QTS, with ongoing mentoring and professional development, all within the same Sheffield school.

• Bachelor's degree in any subject is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with pupils and staff.

Responsabilités

• Year 1: supervise classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons.
• Support pupils with their learning and encourage positive engagement.
• Develop effective classroom management techniques.
• Build relationships with pupils and staff.
• Understand school policies, routines and expectations.
• Work with experienced teachers and support staff.
• Develop confidence and skills for the next step into teaching.
• Year 2: plan and deliver your own lessons.
• Develop teaching style and classroom practice.
• Assess pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Work closely with a mentor.
• Complete PGCE.
• Work toward QTS.
