Job summary

The Northumberland Church of England Academy seeks a Peripatetic Site Assistant to join the facilities team across two schools in Warkworth and Alnwick. You will check and maintain grounds, open and close the site, and support events such as parents evenings, ensuring a clean, safe environment.

This permanent role is 37 hours per week, term time plus 15 days, with shifts totalling 7.4 hours daily. The Trust provides CPD, wellbeing support, and free on-site parking to support a positive school

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to work safely within health and safety regulations.
• Good communication and teamwork to support pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain the school grounds.
• Open and close the site as required.
• Support with school events such as parents evenings.
• Work across two primary sites (Warkworth and Alnwick).
