Job summary

Corus Consultancy Limited in Bloxwich is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our Children's Residential Home. You will hold overall responsibility for day-to-day operations, safeguarding, care standards, and a positive culture for young people and staff.

For exceptional candidates capable of overseeing multiple services, there is a opportunity to manage two homes with a salary package up to £65,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' managerial experience in a children's residential care setting within the last 5 years.
• Experience meeting Ofsted Registered Manager requirements.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (desirable).
• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
• A caring, resilient, child-focused approach with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Managing a Children's Residential Home with young people who may have learning disabilities or complex needs.
• Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations.
• Leading and developing staff, overseeing recruitment and performance management.
• Overseeing care planning, safeguarding, and outcomes for young people.
• Managing budgets and resource allocation; participating in on-call rota.
