Job summary

Rowe Vets in Bradley Stoke, part of IVC Evidensia, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a twilight shift at our 24-hour Bristol hospital. You will provide high-quality nursing care across prep, theatre, wards and imaging, while supporting our OOH and referral teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team atRowe Vets on afull-time basis.

Rowe Vets, Bradley Stoke is a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital and referral centre based in Bristol and can offer the most advanced treatment options available for orthopaedic, soft tissue, ophthalmology and internal medicine cases. We have all imaging facilities with access to MRI.

We have dedicated team of Referral clinicians, RVNs and Support teams & you would be working alongside a dedicated OOHs team. As part of our team, you will be providing high quality nursing care to a variety of cases in all disciplines & support our referral cases.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Twilight Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider OOH team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday - Friday 5pm - 1am

General Responsibilities

• Covering a variety of nursing duties across prep, theatre, wards and imaging
• Monitoring anaesthesia and sedations of patients who are undergoing diagnostic imaging, surgery, and/or rechecks
• Supporting the OOH team with admitting and stabilising emergency cases
• Provide support to all 1st opinion cases & referral - being a point of contact to clients, including organising admits and discharges
