Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MET Technician / MET Fitter / Vehicle Technician.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Experience in a bodyshop or accident repair environment is desirable.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant automotive qualifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on a range of vehicles
• Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components as required
• Diagnose faults and identify any additional repair requirements
• Complete strip and refit work to manufacturer and industry standards
• Work closely with body repair technicians and other workshop staff
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard
• Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets
