Job summary

Caraway Care Home in the seaside town of Selsey is recruiting a Care Assistant to provide high-quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for our residents. You will help with daily living, personal care and emotional wellbeing, following care plans and contributing to a safe, dignified environment.

We offer £13.00 per hour, twilight shifts 7pm–11pm, paid DBS pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Experience beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, mobility support, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and monitor changes in resident condition.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm environment.
