Job summary

Healthcare Ireland Group is seeking a Care Assistant for twilight shifts at Carlisle Court in Belfast. You will provide person-centred care, support daily living activities, and offer companionship to residents while promoting dignity and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating and mobility.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life.
• Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
• Assist with moving and handling residents using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting changes.
• Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and homely environment for residents.
