Job summary

i-confidential Limited is seeking an experienced Threat & Vulnerability Management Specialist for a short-term engagement to review and enhance TVM capability, maturity, and security outcomes. You will challenge current practices, engage stakeholders, and deliver pragmatic recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities include assessing current tools and processes, evaluating Defender and AppCheck usage, and producing a prioritised roadmap to raise maturity and efficiency across security, IT

Qualifications

• Strong background in Threat & Vulnerability Management with capability reviews.
• Experience conducting maturity assessments and gap analyses.
• Understanding of CIS Controls and risk-based prioritisation.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Defender, AppCheck, Qualys, Tenable or Rapid7.

Responsibilities

• Assess the existing TVM capability, tools, processes, data sources and operating practices.
• Review the effectiveness and utilisation of Defender, AppCheck and other solutions.
• Evaluate identification, prioritisation, reporting and remediation governance.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for maturity improvement.
• Engage stakeholders across security, IT and remediation teams.
• Consider dependencies on Microsoft services and operating model.
• Evaluate if scanning tools remain fit-for-purpose or need alternatives.
• Produce a clear, prioritised set of recommendations and a practical roadmap.
