Job summary

Barclay Simpson is recruiting for an experienced Threat & Vulnerability Management Manager to support a major transformation programme in London. The role focuses on increasing automation and advancing Threat & Vulnerability Management capabilities, with emphasis on exposure management and CTEM.

You will routinely engage with senior stakeholders to communicate strategy, priorities, and risk, while driving delivery with technical SMEs to achieve alignment within the programme.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in threat and vulnerability management within financial services.
• Experience defining or implementing exposure management strategies and CTEM.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate risk effectively.
• Experience leading transformation programmes with automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat & vulnerability management workstreams within the transformation programme.
• Define strategy and roadmap to transition from traditional VM to exposure-led approach.
• Engage with SMEs and senior stakeholders to align priorities and delivery.
• Ensure delivery of risk-based controls and automation in VM capabilities.

Job description

A leading Financial Services firm is seeking an experienced Threat & Vulnerability Management Manager to support a major transformation programme focused on increasing automation and advancing its Threat & Vulnerability Management capabilities.

A strong understanding of Exposure Management and CTEM is essential. Ideally, you will have experience implementing these capabilities within an organisation or defining the strategy and roadmap for transitioning from traditional vulnerability management towards a more mature, exposure-led approach.

Strong stakeholder management skills are equally important. You will regularly engage with senior stakeholders to communicate strategy, priorities and risk, while working closely with technical SMEs to drive delivery and ensure alignment across the programme.

This is an initial contract with the potential to extend. The engagement is Outside IR35 and operates on a hybrid working basis in London.
