Capita TV Licensing is hiring a Field Officer in the Brighton area. You will visit residential addresses without a TV licence, explain licensing obligations, and help customers understand their options. You’ll work independently with a flexible schedule, managing your own daily workload and recording outcomes on mobile devices.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle varied customer situations while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence and live within the BN postcode area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Visit residential addresses across the BN postcode area.
• Speak with customers professionally and respectfully.
• Explain TV Licensing requirements and available options.
• Set up payment plans where appropriate.
• Record visit outcomes accurately using mobile technology.
• Make informed decisions and work independently in the field.
• Occasionally attend court as part of the enforcement process.
