Job summary

Tutum Home and Skills for Security invite applicants for an apprenticeship in security systems installation, maintenance and fault-finding. You will work with Access Control, Video Surveillance and Intruder Alarms alongside experienced engineers.

You’ll train through block release at the Watford centre, one week every eight weeks, and progress toward a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Driving Licence required.
• Electrical knowledge appreciated.
• Have Maths & English.

Job Description

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:

• Access Control
• Video Surveillance
• Intruder Alarms

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and learning new technical skills in various environments.

Training to be Provided

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You’ll train through block release at our Watford center, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
