Job summary

CAMS Fire & Security PLC offers an apprenticeship programme at their Watford centre, training alongside expert engineers to install, maintain and fault-find across access control, video surveillance, intruder alarms and fire alarms.

You will train through block release, gain hands-on experience, and work toward a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, with on-site employer support and annual assessments.

Qualifications

Job Description

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:

• Access Control
• Video Surveillance
• Intruder Alarms
• Fire Alarms

Entry Requirements

• 18+ due to site restrictions
• Full UK drivers licence
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
• Electrical Installation qualification preferred
• Live local to the office
• Maths and English GCSE at grade 4 or above

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You’ll train through block release at our Watford centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
