Job summary

Specialist SEND Group in the UK seeks an experienced Tutor to support young people in Poynton who need learning delivered differently. You will teach Maths and/or English, helping learners rebuild confidence, skills and motivation.

Role includes 1:1 tuition in public settings or the learner's home, delivering set hours per week, and planning time. Must have QTS and SEMH experience to support SEND learners effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver set hours of face-to-face tuition per week
• Receive an additional 1 hour of paid planning and administration time each week
• Plan personalised learning for learners with SEND/SEMH
• Track progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
• Work collaboratively to share best practice and raise standards
• Support learner engagement, confidence, and progression
