We are seeking a Tutor/Assessor for engineering apprenticeships

JOB ROLE

• To deliver Level 3 Engineering Technician - Mechanical and Electrical pathways for standard Mechatronics pathway and level 3 maintenance and operations engineering technician (MOET)
• Deliver Level 2 Foundation Competence.
• Deliver Level 3 Development Competence.
• Level 3 Development Knowledge

• Delivering via face-to-face sessions in the classroom/workshop environment
• Complete guidance and mock end point assessments to ensure learners are ready for independent assessment
• Embed Mathematics and English
• To coach and mentor learners
• To work with a caseload of learners
• Inspire and motivate learners to achieve qualifications on time
• Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development
• Produce reports based on KPIs

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

• A UK recognised teaching qualification such as Cert ed, CTTS/DTTLS etc or assessor qualified such as TAQA, AVA, A1, D32/D33
• Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism
