We are growing and looking for a passionate tutor/assessor to deliver our International Freight Forwarding apprenticeship programme. Work hours are typically 9.00 - 5.00 (occasional flexibility may be required).
We welcome applications from experienced professionals seeking either full-time or part-time (3 days) work.
What You'll Do:
· Coach, teach and assess a caseload of freight forwarding apprentices remotely.
· Deliver engaging online workshops and 1:1 support aligned to the apprenticeship standard.
· Guide apprentices through their learning plan and prepare them for End Point Assessment (EPA).
· Adapt sessions to individual learner needs, providing timely, constructive feedback.
· Monitor progress and complete tripartite reviews in line with DfE funding requirements.
· Embed English, maths, safeguarding, and EDI throughout delivery.
· Liaise with employers to ensure alignment between training and on-the-job learning.
· Support the development of programme content and curriculum enhancements.
· Maintain records and contribute to quality and compliance standards.
What You’ll Bring:
· Recent experience working in the freight forwarding/logistics sector (road, sea and/or air).
· Strong understanding of customs processes (e.g. declarations, ITAR, CPC, IPR, Brexit-related changes).
· A recognised teaching and/or assessing qualification.
· Confidence with remote delivery and using online learning platforms.
· Clear communication skills and the ability to engage learners and employers.
· Strong organisational skills and self-motivation to manage your own caseload.
Desirable (or can be supported):
· Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, KSBs and End Point Assessment.
· Understanding of DfE funding rules and Ofsted Inspection Framework.
· Experience contributing to internal quality assurance and preparing for inspections and audits.

Important to Know:
