Job summary

Meridian Trust invites applications for an Alternative Provision Tutor at Swavesey Village College. The role focuses on delivering English, Science and Mathematics support to identified pupils, with a casual contract and Meridian Trust Grade 12, Point 40 (£26.69 per hour).

We have an exciting opportunity for a Alternative Provision Tutor to join our team! You will play a key role in supporting the learning of identified pupils to raise their levels of attainment in English, Science and Mathematics.

The opportunity
  • Effective teaching of mixed ability students on a one to one and small group basis
  • Provide testing to prepare students for GCSE exams.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on students progress
  • Setting goals so students can achieve learning objectives, improving their knowledge and confidence in the subject
