The English and Maths Intervention GCSE Tutor will provide tailored support to students preparing for their GCSE exams. Duties include assessing students' learning needs, creating individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons in English and Maths, monitoring student progress, and providing feedback to help improve academic performance.
A relevant teaching qualification
A degree in English, Maths, or a related field
Prior experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level
Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in English and Maths, ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire students
Additional qualifications in education or tutoring
The English and Maths Intervention GCSE Tutor will work part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students in their homes or local libraries. The role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate student schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
