A leading education supply agency seeks reliable Tutors to work with vulnerable young people in Sunderland. The role involves teaching Maths and English on a 1:1 basis to students with special educational needs. Tutor (Full or Part Time)

Sunderland

£25 - £30 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

A specialist team who provide education to the local authorities most vulnerable young people, are looking to appoint reliable Tutors to work in Sunderland on a 1:1 basis with students unable to access education.

About The Role

Working in the community e.g. residential homes or foster care placements, the desired Tutor will be teaching Maths and English on 1:1 basis with students with SEND. This Home Tutor role is long term. Tuition sessions would be for around two - three hours per day (within school hours) depending on the student's needs.

Requirements

The desired Tutor will have:

• A teaching qualification
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for having a motivating impact on students and maintain focus
• An ability to build positive relationships with young people
