Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a SEND Tutor for a full-time, permanent role in Yeovil starting October 2026. We are looking for educators with experience supporting learners with additional needs who can deliver engaging, accessible learning and hit the ground running.
You will plan and deliver sessions, adjust activities to individual SEND needs, monitor progress, and work closely with support staff to foster independence and confidence in learners.
We are recruiting an experienced SEND Tutor for a specialist education setting in Yeovil. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in October 2026, offering the opportunity to build genuine continuity with young people and become an established member of the team.
We need an educator who already has relevant experience supporting learners with additional needs and can hit the ground running. You will need the confidence to deliver engaging learning while adapting your approach to meet individual abilities, needs and development goals.
We would particularly like to hear from Tutors, Teachers, Instructors or experienced education professionals who have previously supported young people with SEND.
You should be comfortable taking responsibility for learning, able to think on your feet and confident adapting sessions when something is not working. Patience, resilience and strong communication skills will be essential.
Previous relevant experience is important for this position. The setting needs someone who understands specialist education and can arrive ready to hit the ground running.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
