Job summary

Randstad Tuition Services in Leeds is seeking a Creative & Compassionate Educator to deliver 1:1 or small group tuition at ~10 hours per week locally, with the possibility of additional online work during the school day. Salary is £25-£30 per hour (DOE) with start date ASAP.

Ideal candidates are qualified teachers or experienced tutors who can work with learners outside mainstream education. You will tailor sessions to each learner's interests, track progress beyond grades, and help children

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher or experienced tutor with background in education, coaching or mentoring.
• Passionate about helping learners outside mainstream education (SEMH, SEND, EOTAS, AP).
• Creative, flexible approach tailored to individual interests and strengths.
• Empathetic and emotionally intelligent; build trust and confidence.
• Willing to challenge standard methods when beneficial to learner.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 or small group tuition in core subjects with a creative, relationship-first approach.
• Plan engaging sessions meeting learners where they are academically and emotionally.
• Collaborate with Randstad team to track learner progress beyond grades.
• Help learners reconnect with the joy of learning.
