Teamforce Labour is actively seeking experienced Miners for an immediate start in Fleetwood, Lancashire (FY7). This technically demanding tunnelling project involves deep excavation (6m) in a congested utility environment with live gas/electricity nearby, tidal water ingress, and round-the-clock shifts.

Ideal candidates have UK tunnelling Miner experience, timber heading installation skills, and hold TSTS and CSCS.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Miner in UK tunnelling
• Experience installing timber headings
• Holder of Tunnel Safety Training Scheme (TSTS)
• Confined Space certification (Medium or High Risk preferred)
• CSCS Card holder
• Able to commit to 24-hour shift patterns
• Provide an up-to-date CV
• Provide two recent references

Aufgaben

• Carry out hand mining and excavation works as directed
• Assist with the installation of timber headings and ground support systems
• Work safely within confined space environments
• Operate safely in deep excavations with water management systems in place
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and safe systems of work
• Work effectively as part of a tunnelling team on a 24-hour shift rota
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site discipline
