Qualifications

• Minimum STCW III/3 Engineering Officer of the Watch, ideally III/2.
• Valid ENG1 and STCW certification with at least 6 months validity.
• Harbour towage or small-vessel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate high-power tug machinery in a live port.
• Diagnose faults and fix problems under pressure.
• Own the condition, safety, and readiness of the engine room.
• Support the Master and crew to keep the tug operational.
