Job summary

Major Recruitment Huddersfield is seeking a skilled Tube Mill Setter/Operator to join our production team. You will set up and operate the Tube Mill, select correct HMI recipes, ensure tooling is aligned, and maintain product quality and machine performance.

You will monitor forming, welding, scarfing, and cutting, perform first-off checks, record data, escalate issues, and follow health and safety procedures while communicating with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine setting and operation in industrial environments.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and quality specs.
• Proficient in selecting and adjusting process settings within limits.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Tube Mill, select HMI recipes and settings.
• Ensure correct tooling is fitted and aligned, monitor forming/welding/cutting.
• Carry out first-off inspections, record data and quality checks.
• Identify issues, escalate safety or quality concerns promptly.
