Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is seeking Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join our UK team in Haywards Heath. You will drive an IPV, set up and maintain traffic management sites in line with NHSS, and support on-site operations with a focus on safety and quality.

Applicants should hold Lantra traffic management qualifications, be able to pass drugs and alcohol checks, have the right to work in the UK, and possess a full UK driving licence with up to six points.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications required.
• Able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in the UK must be evidenced.
• Full UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Drive an IPV and operate traffic management sites.
• Set up, maintain and remove traffic management schemes per NHSS.
• Deliver daily site briefings and read CAD traffic drawings.
• Ensure safe practices, read RAMS, and complete risk assessments.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking Operatives with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• 12AB Traffic Management Foreman with IPV

Duties may include:

Driving an IPV.

Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites in compliance with NHSS.

Deliver site daily briefings.

Have a competent understating and implementation of ‘Raising The Bar’ document.

Reporting near misses and anything necessary to site TSCO or Operation Managers.

Work alongside your crew to ensure your teammates meet and maintain high quality work plans.

Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.

To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality of operations.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.

Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.

Safely managing the unloading/loading of vehicles containing Traffic Management equipment required.

Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements.

Complete Risk Assessments.

Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant & vehicle defects.
