Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives. The role includes driving an IPV, setting up and maintaining traffic management sites, and delivering daily site briefings.

You will read CAD traffic management drawings, comply with NHSS, RAMS and Health & Safety at Work Act, and report near misses to TSCO or Operations Managers while working with the crew to ensure high quality work plans.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Candidate must have UK driving license and pass drugs/alcohol check.
• Candidate must have right to work in UK.

Responsibilities

• Driving an IPV.
• Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites in compliance with NHSS.
• Deliver site daily briefings.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware of RAMS and implement them on site.
• Safely loading/unloading of vehicles containing Traffic Management equipment.
• Complete Risk Assessments.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant/vehicle defects.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking Operatives with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• 12AB Traffic Management Foreman with IPV

Duties may include:

Driving an IPV.

Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites in compliance with NHSS.

Deliver site daily briefings.

Have a competent understating and implementation of ‘Raising The Bar’ document.

Reporting near misses and anything necessary to site TSCO or Operation Managers.

Work alongside your crew to ensure your teammates meet and maintain high quality work plans.

Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.

To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality of operations.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.

Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.

Safely managing the unloading/loading of vehicles containing Traffic Management equipment required.

Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements.

Complete Risk Assessments.

Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant & vehicle defects.
