Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join a leading traffic management operation. The role requires driving an IPV, setting up and maintaining NMSS-compliant sites, and delivering daily site briefings.

You will read CAD traffic management drawings, adhere to RAMS and health and safety policies, and work with the crew to maintain high quality output. A valid UK driving licence and MHSA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in UK.
• Full UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Driving an IPV.
• Set up, maintain and remove Traffic Management sites in NHSS compliance.
• Deliver site daily briefings.
• Understand and implement the Raising The Bar RAMS.
• Report near misses to TSCO or Operations Managers.
• Work with the crew to meet high quality work plans.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensure safe and effective working to achieve quality operations.
• Comply with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware of RAMS and RAMS updates.
• Safely unload/load vehicles with Traffic Management equipment.
• Follow Method Statements and complete risk assessments.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking Operatives with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• 12AB Traffic Management Foreman with IPV

Duties may include:

Driving an IPV.

Setting up, maintaining and removing Traffic Management sites in compliance with NHSS.

Deliver site daily briefings.

Have a competent understating and implementation of ‘Raising The Bar’ document.

Reporting near misses and anything necessary to site TSCO or Operation Managers.

Work alongside your crew to ensure your teammates meet and maintain high quality work plans.

Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.

To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality of operations.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.

Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.

Safely managing the unloading/loading of vehicles containing Traffic Management equipment required.

Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements.

Complete Risk Assessments.

Complete daily vehicle checks and report plant & vehicle defects.
