Job summary

Grant Thornton UK in Birmingham is seeking a Manager within our Private & Trusts Assurance team to lead a diverse portfolio of trusts clients, delivering high quality tax work and advisory services.

You will mentor junior team members, contribute to client meetings, and support senior management with timely tax compliance and strategy, while embracing our culture of inclusion and flexible working.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Trusts Tax and managing a client portfolio.
• CTA or STEP qualification with post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of trust clients with support from senior leadership.
• Develop more junior team members and support their career progression.
• Participate in client meetings, and respond concisely to client queries.
• Support senior management in producing high quality tax compliance and advice, delivering on deadlines.
• Collaborate with wider Tax teams and Grant Thornton network to grow internal capabilities.
