We are seeking a new trustee to join our board. Our vision is for everyone served by the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (RFL) to access world-leading healthcare, delivered by a thriving workforce and driven by impactful medical research. We support over 17,000 staff and 2 million patients across Barnet, Chase Farm, North Mid, and Royal Free hospitals, as well as more than 30 NHS services.
As a solution-focused strategic partner to RFL, we help hospitals to progress faster than the NHS could alone. We believe funding decisions should be based on strategic priorities and impact, with a focus on co-production. Our investments include:

We are looking for a trustee with strong financial expertise, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to balance risk and opportunity. Excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach to probing and challenging both the executive and board colleagues are essential.
