Job summary

PPM Recruitment is seeking a reliable Caretaker to join our team in Derby. The role focuses on maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep of the premises to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

You will carry out minor repairs, monitor security, set up rooms and facilities, and liaise with contractors as required. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to work independently on a busy site. Enhanced DBS is mandatory. Previous experience is desirable but not essential.

• Must have Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and upkeep of the premises
• Keeping the building and surrounding areas clean, safe, and tidy
• Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Monitoring security and reporting any issues
• Setting up rooms and facilities when required
• Liaising with contractors and service providers
• Carrying out regular checks of the building and equipment
