Job summary

The Mead Educational Trust (TMET) is seeking a Leadership Scale leader to provide strategic Trust-wide leadership in behaviour, culture and inclusive practice. This role will strengthen provision across TMET schools and drive improvements in pupil outcomes.

Working with Executive and school leaders, you will ensure effective strategies, coach staff, and build sustainable leadership capacity across the Trust’s Leicester and Leicestershire schools.

Qualifications

• Is a qualified teacher with QTS and a strong track record of successful school leadership.
• Has significant expertise in behaviour, culture and inclusion.
• Has experience of working with complex and high-level behaviour.
• Understands effective classroom practice and the link between teaching, behaviour and culture.
• Can coach and develop teachers and leaders to drive sustainable improvement.
• Understands how behaviour, SEND, attendance, safeguarding and disadvantage interact for vulnerable pupils.
• Uses evidence and data to identify patterns and evaluate impact.
• Has experience implementing long-term improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide Trust-wide leadership for behaviour and culture.
• Develop and evaluate the Trust's strategic approach.
• Coach school leaders and staff to improve practice.
• Identify barriers and implement sustainable improvement.
• Work across multiple schools with targeted deployment.
