Main duties of the job

The post holder will worktheir contracted hours on a dedicated Paediatric ED middle grade rota and will gain experience and training in managing medically unwell children as well as injured children in a busy Trauma Unit, which is part of the North East London Trauma Network. The successful candidate will be supported by a team of three Paediatric Emergency Medicine consultants and seventeen adult Emergency Medicine consultants, and will provide advice, teaching and supervision to more junior colleagues in the Paediatric Emergency Department.

About us
