Job summary

The De Curci Trust is seeking a Trust ICT Operations Manager to oversee the ICT estate across the Trust, maintaining secure, reliable systems that support teaching and admin functions.

You will collaborate with School Network Managers, line manage IT support staff, and drive ICT strategy and capital projects, including shaping the 2027 secondary school rebuild. The Trust supports CPD and safeguarding with enhanced DBS checks prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ICT estate across the Trust, ensuring safe, secure and reliable systems that support teaching and administration.
• Line manage and support the IT staff and School Network Managers, guiding professional deployment of the ICT team.
• Lead ICT strategic planning with senior leadership to align infrastructure with school needs and capital projects.

Trust ICT Operations Manager

Start Date: 01 December 2026

We are seeking a Trust ICT Operations Manager to manage, maintain and continually develop a safe, secure, and effective ICT estate and strategy across the Trust. Working with our School Network Managers and their teams, you will actively line manage, support and oversee the professional deployment of our IT support personnel.

Working with the senior leadership teams within the schools and Trust on ICT strategic planning, you will take overall responsibility for the management and development of ICT infrastructure, liaising with key staff to ensure that ICT services meet operational needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape positive change to ensure our teaching and administrative ICT systems meet the needs of all of our pupils and staff for learning in the 21st Century, whilst ensuring safe, secure infrastructure. Notably, our secondary school is being rebuilt for 2027, and so the role presents an exciting chance to help shape ICT improvement as part of a major capital project.
