As part of this role there will be opportunities to undertake audits, to be involved in governance activities and to take part in service improvement projects to enhance the post holder's CV.
These posts are an ideal stepping stone for candidates who wish to acquire a training number in Medicine and who have either gained their full MRCP or have part 1+2 and are due to undertake PACES or await their PACES outcome but wish to acquire additional skills and experience whilst working as a medical registrar. They are also ideal for those who are coming to the end of their IM3 year, or simply looking for a post outside of training for a period of time.
All posts are on a full shift rota (long days, nights, weekends). The rota level will depend on experience but will either be at IM3 level or our ST4+ GIM rota. Both rotas cover City and QMC out of hours.
