Job description

Are you an experienced clerk/minute taker looking for a rewarding role in education? Look no further! We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to serve as Clerk to the School Governing Boards across our primary and secondary schools in the Rochdale area.

This is a key role providing accurate minutes of meetings and procedural advice to the Chair and the governing board. Our experienced Governance Manager will provide training and support for the role.

Position Details:

1. Meetings take place during the late afternoon / evening. Each meeting lasts approximately 2 hours, with an additional 9 hours per meeting allocated for producing minutes. The successful candidate will minute 2 meetings per week during term time.
2. Further administration, preparation for meetings, and completion of minutes can be completed remotely.
3. Own car necessary for travel to schools.
