Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The non-consultant weeks typically include training in advanced imaging and cardio-oncology, clinics in general and specialised cardiology, and sessions for admin, research, audit, and teaching. The rota complies with the European Working Time Directive. Educational opportunities include weekly cardiology teaching and departmental meetings, along with MDT meetings in various specialised cardiology areas. Fellows are supported to achieve formal competencies in their chosen fields, with educational supervision provided.
