Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers seeks an experienced heavy-duty truck technician to diagnose, repair, and service Freightliner trucks in a fast-paced shop environment. You will perform complex engine and electrical repairs, test drives, and maintain accurate work orders while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair truck systems using hand and power tools.
• Test drives and inspections to verify proper operation after repairs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and document time punches accurately.
• Follow OEM and company guidelines and warranty procedures.
• Ensure parts are tagged and work orders are completed per instructions.
• Maintain customer vehicle cleanliness during and after repair work.
