The University of Leicester is seeking a self-motivated Trial Manager to oversee complex clinical trials. The role involves managing trial initiation, administration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will possess strong project management skills and a solid understanding of clinical research methodologies.
Leicester Clinical Trials Unit is experiencing growth due to an expanding portfolio of trials. We collaborate with nationally and internationally recognized investigators to deliver high-quality, impactful clinical research.
We are an ambitious team committed to providing expert, solution-focused, and flexible support to our clients. We seek a self-motivated Trial Manager to oversee the delivery of complex, multi-site clinical trials. Responsibilities include trial initiation, organization, administration, and supervising a research administrator. You will work proactively with NHS clinical and academic staff to ensure research governance standards are met and trials are delivered on time and within budget.
The role requires providing trial management expertise to ensure the smooth operation of research studies, adhering to protocols, ethical and regulatory approvals, SOPs, GCP principles, EU directives, and UK legislation.
The ideal candidate will have proven project and line management skills, with a strong understanding of clinical research and trial management methodology.
You should be able to work independently, managing your own workload and that of trial administration staff.
