Job summary

LoweConex is seeking an experienced Trend BMS Engineer based in Northern Ireland to provide day-to-day BMS support and customer liaison. The role focuses on maintaining Trend BMS systems, configuring IQ Vision, exporting data, and driving improvements for reliable building management.

Responsibilities include trend data handling, performance analysis, collaboration with stakeholders, and ongoing support for evolving building automation projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Trend BMS and IQ Vision is essential.
• Experience using Set to maintain Trend BMS is essential.
• Desirable exposure to Tridium, EDPAC, ModBus and BACnet.
• Strong HVAC knowledge and building automation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain building management systems, ensuring proper functioning and flagging issues.
• Configure and maintain IQ Vision.
• Export data from Trend into other systems.
• Analyse system performance and report to the Bureau Manager.
• Implement improvements and suggest creative solutions to technical problems.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure connectivity and effectiveness.
• Work with BAU to provide technical support.
• Cross-train on other control systems and languages.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

This is a perfect role for an experienced Trend BMS Engineer at LoweConex, ideally based in Northern Ireland. As an Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with building management systems and working closely with the customer to ensure a best-in-class service.

Other responsibilities include:

• Managing and maintaining building management systems, ensuring their proper functioning, and flagging any issues or problems that arise.
• Configuring and maintaining IQ Vision.
• Exporting data from Trend into other systems.
• Analysing system performance, reporting on the same to the Bureau Manager.
• Implementing improvements as needed, suggesting creative solutions to technically challenging problems.
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full connectivity and effectiveness.
• Work closely with the BAU to offer technical support.
• Cross train on other control systems and languages.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience working with Trend is essential.
• Experience setting up and maintaining IQ Vision is essential.
• Experience using Set to maintain a Trend BMS system.
• Previous exposure to Tridium, EDPAC, ModBus and BACnet is desirable.
• Previous experience working within a fast-paced organisation (ideally facilities management or similar).
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and controls, as well as building automation protocols and technologies.
• Keen attention to detail, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Customer-focused and results-driven.
