Job summary

Broxtowe Borough Council is seeking a Tree Inspector to lead tree works across the Borough’s parks and green spaces. The role is based at Kimberley Depot with travel throughout the Borough and requires experience in tree management and strong communication with residents.

The ideal candidate will hold Arboriculture qualifications (RFS certificate and/or Diploma Level 3+) and demonstrate independent problem-solving skills, plus proficiency with digital reporting tools and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Perform tree inspections and surveys.
• Experience in tree management and maintenance.
• Knowledge of tree species, health assessments and relevant legislation.
• Assessing tree works and quality control.
• Excellent communication with residents and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead on all tree works and their management across the Borough’s Parks and green spaces.
• Respond to tree-related queries and ensure health and sustainability of trees.
• Role based at Kimberley Depot; travel across the Borough as required.
