Job summary

Mondrian Alpha in London seeks a Treasury Software Engineer to join its tech team, bridging Engineering, Portfolio Finance and Trading, delivering systems for margin, financing and funding across global portfolios.

You will work with Repo traders, quants and engineers on financing problems, building near real-time processing and portfolio optimisation, and owning systems end-to-end. AWS experience is a plus, with exposure to scalable, resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or other OO languages.
• Strong SQL and fundamentals of CS, with systems design skills.
• Exposure to Treasury, portfolio financing, funding, or post-trade tech is a plus.
• AWS/cloud experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Build systems for margin, financing interest and funding costs across assets.
• Develop near real-time trade processing and portfolio optimisation tech.
• Enhance Treasury, Portfolio Finance and Repo workflow systems.
• Collaborate with Repo traders, quants and engineers on financing problems.
• Improve performance, resilience and scalability of critical services.
• Own systems from design through production.
